ABOUt
Bedford Independent Film Festival was created by filmmakers, for filmmakers.
With 30 years of combined experience in independent filmmaking, we’re committed to promoting and showcasing independent films from around the world. We welcome all genres, including Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller, Action, Comedy, Drama, Animation and Documentary.
Entries are judged by our panel of festival directors across categories such as cinematography, story, pacing, production design and sound. The festival will feature three days of screenings, industry talks, seminars, networking events and an awards ceremony.
OUR VENUE
We're lucky to have the beautiful Quarry Theatre as our main screening venue, located in the heart of Bedford. All selected films will be screened either in the 170 seat theatre or the 40 seat screening room.

BIFF presents the best of independent film making from around the world, which will include relevant industry talks, networking events and an award ceremony.

An independent filmmaker from Bedford with 10+ years experience and worldwide distribution on two feature films.
LEAH PERKINS
Leah has experience in the TV & film industry as a script supervisor, producer & talent agent. She has worked in business management roles and ran events in Bedford.
JULIAN HUNDY
A cinematographer and award winning editor from Bedford with 10 plus years of experience on feature films and short films.
